Well, here I am, back at it again. The first week of 2011 wasn’t so great, with a gain of 300g (on top of all the gains in the weeks prior) but during the second week I’ve managed to lose 500g and 4.5cm …yay me! So now I have to keep up the level of exercise and maintain a healthy low fat, low calorie diet (easier said than done!) and hopefully also maintain the drive and determination to keep at it. It’s a rather sobering experience to look back at my weight records from the 1990s and see that my waist is now as big as my hips and chest used to be :::groan:::
I know I’ll never get back to that same shape or weight but I’d like to get a damned lot closer to it than I am at the moment. Menopausal ‘waist thickening’ sucks!!!!!!
