Well, I’m now into my 3rd year of this blog and “health kick” …maybe it’ll be a case of “third time lucky”? Anyway, the new year is off to a slightly better start than previous attempts with a weight loss of 1.1 kg and 5.5 cm in only 5 days! Yay me!
(We’ll just ignore the fact that I was 2.3 kg heavier on Jan 1, 2012 than when I first started “losing” weight back in January 2010.) I decided to do an extra weigh in on January 1 and make that my “zero” week for this year. Apart from walking the dog I haven’t been doing much other exercise, but I have been careful about what I eat – trying to stay low fat, low carbs, higher protein – so far so good! Trying to change lifestyle habits is the hardest part, but like I’ve said a million times before (um, slight exaggeration but you get the idea) I’m NOT giving up!
